Lloyds Bank Academy launches free digital skills classes in Bristol

Following success in Manchester, Lloyds Bank Academy is coming to Bristol this autumn!

Lloyds Bank Academy are partnering with a local organisations around Bristol to deliver free face-to-face training for individuals and small businesses . Over 60 courses will be run from 7 locations throughout September and October 2019.

Digital skills are needed for everyday life and work, yet the UK Digital Consumer Index 2019 showed:

  • 11.9m people in the UK don’t have the Essential Digital Skills needed for day-to-day life
  • 8% of people are offline in the South West
  • 21% of people in the South West don’t have full Essential Digital skills for life
  • 47% of people in the South West don’t have full Essential Digital Skills for work.

Lloyds Bank Academy provides both online and face-to-face training to help people improve their digital skills. Courses cover topics ranging from staying safe online and understanding the online world, to improving your CV and running your business more effectively.
